Pre-War Herringbone (new)
Whoa! This is the real deal in a super powerful Dreadnought. Here is their very accurate website description from the fellows at Pre-War:
ADIRONDACK AND BRAZILIAN: THE PERFECT RECIPE FOR A DREADNOUGHT CANNON THAT CAN GO TOE-TO-TOE WITH ANY LOAR OR MASTERTONE. IT HAS A BIG BARK, BUT LOTS OF WARMTH AS WELL. THE CHORDS ARE SWEET, AND THE SINGLE NOTES SHINE LIKE DIAMONDS. WHETHER PLAYING IN A DUO, OR FULL BAND, THE TONE CUTS THROUGH LOUD AND CLEAR. WHAT'S OLD IS NEW AGAIN....STEP INTO THE BLUEGRASS TIME MACHINE WITH THIS ONE.
This one has old growth Brazilian back and sides with a beautiful “torrefied” Adirondack top and braces. It is a distress level 1 (representing the least wear) with a very thin nitro finish. The neck has a 1 ¾” nut and a profile very similar the 1930’s Martins – somewhat beefy but very comfortable. Great action and set up. OHSC
